"My Name is Paul DePauw, I’m currently enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education at Southern Cross University, Tweed Gold Coast Campus.
This is definitely the best year of my life! Still to this day I would choose this School and campus. The location is very ideal for any Canuck wanting to escape the Canadian cold. The location of the school is ideal for a number of reasons. Minutes away from miles upon miles of one of a kind white sandy beaches. They are top notch! Within a 5 minute walk I’m at the beach where surfing is a must. Home of the Roxy/Quicksilver Surf Pro in February, this is a great way to start the school year off with the many other students you will meet. This area is very close to a number of spectacular hiking and sightseeing trails. There are a number of Natural
Parks and World Heritage sites all to view for free. The school is small
but very friendly and most helpful. Tweed Gold Coast Campus is very accessible to Surfers Paradise which is only a 30 minutes drive north and Brisbane a one hour drive. The Gold Coast airport is only minutes away making traveling around Australia much more convenient. My Australian experience has truly been unforgettable and definitely would not trade it for any other school. If anyone wants more info I’d be happy to help.

Our time studying here at Southern Cross University, Tweed Gold Coast Campus has been a trip of a lifetime. We couldn't have made a better choice!
There is so much to do and see, from hiking through the World Heritage Rainforests 30 min. away or the miles of endless beaches within a minutes walk of your flat. Not to mention the culture. With the start of the school year is the start of the pro surf tour and the "Quiksilver Pro Surf Competition" held right here! As well the Gold Coast campus is small and very intimate adding to the overall experience! This is a school where your teachers and advisors really take care of you and get to know you. I can't recommend choosing Southern Cross: Tweed Gold Coast Campus enough!!!!!!!
