Info Sessions

CANTEACH students are able to apply and attend CANTEACH University options abroad for NZ starting Feb 2027/2028 and the Fall UK 2027 (last updated Sept 29th, 2026).**

Teacher Education Programs are available for CANTEACH students at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT-NZ), the University of Canterbury (UC-NZ), the University of Portsmouth (Portsmouth-England), the West of Scotland (UWS-Scotland) and Cardiff Metropolitan University (Cardiff Met-Wales).

Mike Johnson and University Representatives are attending Ontario University Fairs (Brock, Trent, Guelph, Laurier, Waterloo and Western) from Sept 24th to Oct 20th, 2026 (see schedule below).

Zoom sessions of the overall CANTEACH presentation take place regularly and there many in October (6/8/14/21).  These sessions are intended for those students interested in finding out more information about CANTEACH and the University Programs in Teacher Education ie. costs, accommodation, certification, application information and the overall timeline for the process to attend Teachers College abroad.

Oct 18th, 2026 CANTEACH Pre-departure & Information Session Schedule Meeting will be the next in person session in Toronto where Mike Johnson and University Representatives will be in Toronto at the Marriott Eaton Centre.  This session will be the February 2027 Pre-departure Meeting and Information Sessions for AUT & UC (New Zealand) and an Information session for Portsmouth, UWS & Cardiff Met (England, Scotland & Wales), for August and September 2027.  Please mark this date in your calendar.. These in person sessions in Toronto serve as Pre-departure Meetings and as Information Sessions for all CANTEACH University options.

CANTEACH Graduates Teaching in Ontario will be on hand to meet and discuss their experience directly to interested students (and parents) during these sessions. The next session will be April 11th, 2027.

April 11th, 2027 CANTEACH Pre-departure & Information Session Schedule will be the Pre-departure Meetings for AUT July 2027, and the Fall of 2027 for Portsmouth, UWS & Cardiff Met (England, Scotland and Wales). Please mark this date in your calendar.
