Info Sessions

CANTEACH students are able to apply and attend CANTEACH University options abroad for NZ/AUT July 2026 and the Fall UK (Aug/Sept) 2026.  Feb 2027 applications in New Zealand opened Feb 2026 (last updated April 14th, 2026).**

Teacher Education Programs are available for CANTEACH students at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT-NZ), the University of Canterbury (UC-NZ), the University of Portsmouth (Portsmouth-England), the West of Scotland (UWS-Scotland) and Cardiff Metropolitan University (Cardiff Met-Wales).

Mike Johnson has done CANTEACH Presentations on zoom and attended CANTEACH Tables with University Representatives from abroad for many Ontario University visits in March 2026 (see schedule below).

Zoom sessions of the overall CANTEACH presentation take place monthly.  These sessions are intended for those students interested in finding out more information about CANTEACH and the University Programs in Teacher Education ie. costs, accommodation, certification, application information and the overall timeline for the process to attend Teachers College abroad.

Mike Johnson and University Representatives were in Toronto  March 29th, 2026 at the Marriott Eaton Centre. These in person sessions in Toronto served as Pre-departure Meetings and as Information Sessions for all CANTEACH University options.  CANTEACH Graduates Teaching in Ontario will be on hand to meet and discuss their experience directly to interested students (and parents) during these sessions. The next session will be October 18th, 2026 at the Marriott Eaton Centre.

March CANTEACH Pre-departure & Information Session Schedule will be the Pre-departure Meetings for AUT July 2026, and the Fall of 2026 for Portsmouth, UWS & Cardiff Met (England, Scotland and Wales). Please mark this date in your calendar.

October 18th, 2026 CANTEACH Pre-departure & Information Session Schedule in Toronto will be the Jan/Feb 2027 Pre-departure Meeting and Information Sessions for AUT & UC (New Zealand) 2027 and an Information session for Portsmouth, UWS & Cardiff Met (England, Scotland & Wales), for August and September 2027.  Please mark this date in your calendar.
